Mission Statement
Local residents dedicated to bringing together the many
facets of Tucson's colorful history have come together to
create this electronic record of the Old Pueblo's
history. From the people who made their home in this
area, to the varied styles of architecture defining our
unique character, Tucson has a story worth recording.
El Presidio Historic Preservation Commission's mission is
to preserve and make Tucson's history more readily available
to individuals and groups who are interested in learning
about the Old Pueblo's past. EPHPC opens its website
to any group wishing to add accurate historical information,
photos, or oral histories to the database. Events that
are open to the public and promote Tucson's unique history
may also be advertised on this website.
